Greetings All,
The weather that we have had during this winter should make everyone look forward to spring time and the 2010 track & field season. I often wonder if coaches of other sports think about the change in seasons as much as track or cross country coaches do. The last few weeks have quickly passed by since I was given the opportunity to guide this great organization that does so much for student athletes and coaches across the state of Iowa...(see the newsletter for more )

Throws Coach Brad Wymer, Iowa City West, is holding a Shot Put and Discus Clinic, Saturday, February 20, at Solon High School. On-site Registration will be from 10:00 am to 10:30 am. The clinic is geared more toward coaches than athletes. Brad asks that if you are going to attend the clinic that you would please send him an e-mail (

) and indicate whether you want lunch (not included in the clinic fee) or not. Also include any others that will be attending such as athletes/other coaches/parents so that he can get a relatively accurate head count to plan for food. |

University of Iowa Announces Additional Clinics and Dates |

The University of Iowa has announced the additional clinics for Athletes and Coaches. Sunday, February 21 and March 7 are dates for the Hurdles Clinics and Sprint Clinics in addition to the Coaches Track Clinic this weekend and the Throws Clinic previously announced for the same dates in February and March.
