Only Senior Runners are allowed to compete in the All-Star Competition
All Senior Runners must meet the criteria in order to be invited. The criteria is list below.

The Senior All-Star Cross Country Meet will be held annually the Saturday following the State Co-ed Cross Country Meet. Senior runners will be invited to compete by the All-Star Selection Committee.
Coaches and fans are welcome to nominate a Senior runner(s) by supplying the IATC with selection information. The proper nomination is completed by using the link to the nomination page. (The page is also used for the Senior All-Star Track and Field Meet) Please select Cross Country from the drop-down menu choice and please type in 2015 when nominating a senior athlete.

Prior to the Senior Event an Open 5K race on the course will be held for anyone wanting to compete and run the course. There is a $5.00 donation to participate in the race without t-shirt. With a $15.00 donation one receives a t-shirt with his/her registration. Senior All-Star T-Shirts, Sweatshirts and other meet items will be for sale during the meet.
The Open 5K competitors may register on race day or may pre-register by sending an e-mail to the Meet Director, (TBA) , and containing the folowing information.
1 - The Competitors Name
2 - Gender
3 - Age
4 - Community
- All Runners must be Checked in at the Course between 9:30 & 10:30 am.
- At check-in each runner will receive a meet T-Shirt, Uniform and Race Number
- Uniforms Will Be Checked in following the competition or may be purchased for $17
- All-Star Runners will meet with their All-Star Coaches for instructions and information concerning uniform Dressing areas at check-in

All Criteria Qualifying female runners and male runners form each region will be selected to represent their region of the state. All of the senior athletes in each gender division will compete for Individual honors, along with competitions by Region.

All-Star Meet Criteria
|
1 - Must Be A Senior
2 - *Men: Must have Run 17:30 or Below as a SENIOR
(A meet Result Confirmation is Required)
- *Women: Must Have Run 22:30 or Below as a SENIOR
(A meet Result Confirmation is Required)
3 - Must Have Completed The Cross Country In Good Team Standing
and is in good standing with his/her High School prior to All-Star
Meet Saturday.

Confirmation of the Time Requirement

All meet results should be (have been) sent to the IATC for posting.
Any meet results not posted on the IATC Website will require the All-Star Nominating Individual to notify the selection committee as where a confirmation can be seen.
Include: Location of the Meet Results are posted, Meet Name and Date. |

Getting to the Meet
Driving Direction From the North
Travel I-35 south to Ankeny. Exit at (Exit 90 on right) to SE Oralabor Road/Country Road F38/Ia-160W. Continue west (approximately 1.3 miles) through the Hwy 69 intersection. Continue west to the South Entrance to the DMACC Campus. Exit onto DMACC BLVD. Keep left as you enter the campus. Athlete and spectator Parking will be directly
ahead. The competition course will be just West of the parking lot.
