Mike Henderson Junior High Track & Field Meets
The Mike Henderson Junior High meets are named in honor of the long time Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union Director.  Mike the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union information secretary since 1973 until his passing December 30, 2004, at his home in Des Moines due to complications of emphysema and sleep apnea. He was 63.

The Girl's Meet is held at the Waukee High School Track
