Minnesota State-Mankato and Augustana of South Dakota, are each D-2 programs, with Iowa kids and both compete in the Northern Sun Conference.   Minnesota State-Mankato will host the D-2 Indoor Championships, March 9-10.  Iowans scoring in the Northern Sun conference meet last week were:

Former Waverly-Shell Rock stand out Rachel Peth has decided to run at UNI (she is on scholarship for volleyball).

Broke freshman record 8.67 seconds.

Atlantic distance runner Ali Krogman will take her talents to the University of Iowa next year.
400m specialist Alex Hartwig will run at Northwest Missouri State.

Ogden girls track has three girls competing in college:
Stephanie Haberer - Senior at Wartburg
Toby Jo Klauenberg- Soph at Univ of North Carolina Charlotte
Olivia Diggs - Soph at Morningside

Evan Colfack, high school senior has signed a letter of intent to participate in track and field and play football for the University of Sioux Falls. Evan placed 5th in the 2A discus last year and 10th in the 2A shot put.

Brady Grunder School record holder in the Shot 51' and discus 169'9 at Durant, has signed a letter of intent to throw at Iowa Central Community college.

Update on Brianna Hobbs, a former runner for the Kingsley-Pierson Panthers:  
Brianna Hobbs led the Northwestern College women's team with a pair of top five finishes and earning 13 points for the Red Raiders in the GPAC Indoor Conference Championships. The junior placed second in the 600m, meeting the NAIA automatic standard with a time of 1:37.4 and then finished fourth in the 800m with a time of 2:20.4.

Tyler Campbell is running for Buena Vista University as a freshman in the high hurdles.
